Closing First Season with Juneau Symphony

As our first season together comes to a close, I'm filled with gratitude for the incredible Juneau Symphony community.

Last weekend's Hollywood Pops concert was a joyful finale, and a huge congratulations to our Youth Solo Competition winner, Sahid Talomé Dewees, for a fantastic performance.

Looking back on the season, I'm so proud of what we've accomplished together, from beloved masterworks to Edward Littlefield's exciting new commission celebrating the history and music of the Tlingit people.

My heartfelt thanks to our outstanding musicians, staff, volunteers, board members, and supporters who make it all possible. A special thank you to Charlotte Truitt, whose leadership and tireless efforts have been essential to every success we've enjoyed this season.

Thank you, Juneau, for welcoming me so warmly. It's been an unforgettable first season, and I can't wait to see what we'll create together next!
