For Burning Man 2023- Animalia, Art Haus is excited to present Noble Beast, a celebration of our personal and collective journey as we continue shedding our egos and rewilding our beings to discover the noble beast within each of us. Noble Beast will be presented at NOSOTRES, a new work by artists Simón Malvaez and Brenden Darby which is a monument to the ancient history of the queer community inspired by the Aztec myth of the deity Quetzalcoatl’s journey through the nine layers of the Realm of Death to Mictlán, and serves as a reminder that queer people have been here since the beginning of time. A new work by Robin Dekkers and Christian Squires, Noble Beast will be set to the music of Anna Clyne, Anna Meredith, Nicole Lizée, and Max Richter!
We invite you to join us on this journey as we spread the classical & contemporary arts to new audiences, and bring this new work to life in Black Rock City! All donations are tax deductible and we are offering some great perks to thank you for your donation!
Our first 50 donations of any amount will receive an invitation to our final San Francisco dress rehearsal on Thurs. Aug. 24 at San Francisco State University McKenna Theater!
Donations of $25 or more will also receive an official Art Haus sticker!
